Lee Burridge’s beloved All Day I Dream party & label recently announced their Summer of Love world tour dates of the lover-filled parties of the same name. They launched the six month, 22 date tour in Los Angeles this past Sunday. Here at Only The Beat, we’ve been to a lot of parties, and All Day I Dream continues to serve up their impressive brand of Planet Happiness.

The ADID parties shy away from outrageous and focus on iterations of cultural and organic beauty that exists already on Earth, in a more concentrated form. Attendees come early to get a fill of open-air dancing and other treats offered by various venues. Locales are hand-picked and musical trust is established. Those in the know, know that ADID doesn’t drop the ball, learning from each party and bringing subtle improvements.
This summer kick-off remained at the same venue as the New Year Day party, Gin Ling Way in Chinatown. The shops remained open, as well as the in-situ restaurants, allowing refueling and side activities. Security was well-represented but not obnoxious. The door was organized. While bathroom lines were long they moved very quickly, with higher end portable toilets increased in number from the previous party.

For the New Year’s Day party, Hoj’s set was good, but at this event it elevated to near perfection. There was a musical journey without losing the interest of the listener on the subtler parts. Burridge continued the flow seamlessly, and there were very few people just milling about.
ADID returns to Los Angeles a few weeks post-Burning Man, and then continues the world tour through December, reaching 100,000 lovers of melodic house music. It’s a fine club to be a part of, a welcoming club to join, and one that we at Only The Beat highly recommend you experience a higher level of day party.
