Throttle Takes New Direction With Ed Sheeran Remix

Robbie Bergan, the young Australian known as Throttle, has had quite a busy 2017 so far. The twenty-year old producer has already put out remixes of Snakeships & MØ’s ‘Don’t Leave‘ in addition to releasing his original ‘Hit The Road Jack‘ back in February. Both tracks have amassed hundreds of thousands of streams and has set up Throttle for a huge takeover in the coming months. Now the Melbourne native is back again with another stunning remix – this time of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Castle On The Hill.’ But this one that isn’t the funky/disco/house style Bergan is known for, instead taking Sheeran’s compelling folk-pop single and reshaping it with a nice combination of future bass, with just a little bit of a tropical vibe sprinkled in. The experimental style works flawlessly and is one of my favorite tracks out there right now. Perfect for the summer that is just around the corner.

With already three major releases out in the short amount of time 2017 has been here, Throttle is determined to make this his year. If you’re going to be down in Florida for Miami Music Week, check out some of the venues he’ll be playing and be sure to stop by and check him out. Take a look at his schedule here.

Have a listen to Throttle’s remix below and let us know what you think.
